Job Description:

As a software developer with VGM Homelink one will build and maintain software applications that are critical to the company’s growth. Candidates must be competent and experienced software developers that can join the team and hit the ground running. The right candidate must be curious minded, detail oriented, demonstrate good communication skills and committed to success. Crucial to success in this role is understanding that the initial months on the job will include learning from others to gather clear understanding of the basic functions of the Homelink business unit.

Reports to:                  Homelink VP Information Systems

Pay:                             Highly Competitive Pay with full benefits      

Hours:                         Fulltime: 8-5, Monday - Friday

Working Location:       The candidate hired for this position will be required to be located in Waterloo, Iowa

As a Homelink software developer one will be well compensated and have opportunities for growth within VGM. In addition to challenging and meaningful work, one will have the opportunity to give back and participate in volunteer opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in CS is highly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience working in the software industry coding .Net applications, ASP.Net, ADO.Net or Entity Framework and SQL Server 2008/2012.
  • Strong experience and understanding of object oriented development principles.
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and TFS Source Control.
  • Relevant Microsoft Certification a bonus.
