Job Description

VGM Forbin is searching for an individual to aid in help desk support and troubleshooting for clients in the areas of backup, desktop support, networks, security, and servers. 

Responsibilities

These are the responsibilities expected of an applicant interested in this position.

  • Provide help desk support, diagnosis, and resolution planning for incoming phone call and emails. Prior experience supporting remote clients preferred.
  • Coordinate incoming service desk tickets including assigning onsite service calls and ticket escalation as appropriate.
  • Monitor and respond to software-generated alerts.
  • Configure and prepare computer systems and other hardware for delivery to clients.
  • Participate in relevant vendor training to maintain up to date expertise.
  • Experience working with network hardware such as firewalls, routing/switching and wireless equipment.  

Qualifications

Applicants are expected to meet these qualifications to be considered for this position.

1-3 years of I.T. experience, preferably in a Help Desk setting.
