Job Description

As the Marketing and Communications Manager for VGM HOMELINK an individual manages the day-to-day marketing activities of the HOMELINK company and helps develop long-term strategies for success and growth. Ultimately accountable for consistent branding and high quality messaging, this individual will play a leadership role with conceptual design for major campaigns and corporate communications. In support of these responsibilities, it is crucial for the Manager to collaborate regularly with internal stakeholders to prioritize work in support of key marketing and sales needs.  *This position will not lead or supervise others.

This is a fast-paced position with urgent deadline requiring strong personal drive and commitment to success. Additional duties and responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
  • Manage online and print marketing.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for industry trade shows.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure all relevant company functions are informed of marketing activities.

Qualifications

Applicants are expected to meet these qualifications to be considered for this position.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Marketing and/or Graphic Design major highly preferred if not required. Qualified candidates must have relevant time spent in a professional marketing and communications role. Individuals must comply with continuing education per Company, regulatory, contractual, and accreditation requirements.

  • Expert knowledge of electronic media strategies including SMO/SEO optimization.
  • Graphic design experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong creative outlook.
  • Good organization, prioritization and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of various healthcare industry billing and/or coding terminologies such as ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, modifiers, and various Medicare LCDs.
  • Competence to understand, analyze and interpret insurance claims.
  • Strong verbal/written communication & presentation skills.
  • A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning.
  • Proficient with computers.
