Job Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) tester will be test user interface (IU) input validation and operation, participate in UX and design, and conduct both manual and automated unit and integrated testing. Work will include testing for web applications, APIs, and MS SQL procedures. Automated test experience and ability to read C# is absolutely necessary.

Reports to:                 Software Development Manager

Hours:                        Full-Time: Monday – Friday 8-5, occasional off-hours when job duties require

These are the responsibilities expected of an applicant interested in this position.

  • Responsible for ensuring the software product deployed to production is of high quality with few defects.
  • Design and implement automated test solutions for new products.
  • Assist with design and execute manual tests for new and existing products.
  • Prepare specification documentation according to procedure and industry best practices.
  • Work as part of the development team to isolate issues by collecting and analyzing detailed process steps, log files, and data input.
  • Documents within TFS testing results in order to assist in defect resolution, working closely with the Development and Change Management team(s), as appropriate.
  • Evaluate problems identified in production and assist with resolution strategies.
  • Execute special projects, including but not limited to a functional and performance testing.
  • Follows strict confidentiality and HIPAA privacy and security guidelines.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.


Applicants are expected to meet these qualifications to be considered for this position.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong experience and understanding of object oriented development principles.
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and TFS Source Control.
  • Need automated testing experience to help us build out a test automation platform.


  • Bachelors in CS is highly preferred along with 3+ years of accomplished experience working in software development. Experience testing/coding .Net applications, ASP.Net, MVC, ADO.Net or Entity Framework.
  • College degree preferred or strong experience working with company policies and procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures through training or experience.
  • Must comply with continuing education per Company, regulatory, contractual, and accreditation requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting at desk, standing and walking, in office and throughout facility.
  • Operation of office machinery and equipment.
  • Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision.
